Information for Guests
We hope you enjoy a memorable stay with us. Please take the time to read the information below prior to your arrival.

• Behave responsibly during your stay. Loud singing, yelling, screaming, cheering, and aggressive behaviour is NOT acceptable and may result in the early termination of your stay if a complaint is received by Council
• No additional accommodation is permitted on site such as tents, caravans and campervans.
• Do not use outdoor areas for activity between 10,00pm to 8.00am.
• Place all waste into the bins provided prior to leaving

• The properties are for holiday accommodation purposes only. Parties, wedding functions, events, and school functions (schoolies) are not allowed (unless discussed and agreed on prior). A charge of $500 will be incurred if any type of function is held at the property and the booking will be cancelled with no refund provided.
• If a member of South Coast Host or a security company is called out to the property for noise complaints, you bond will be forfeited.
• Please respect the neighbours and don’t create nuisance or excessive noise that may cause annoyance or disturb the neighbours.
• No noise after 10pm and not before 8am. No music outside during these times

Pets are allowed on request at select properties. Please advise us at the time of booking. A $100 per fee applies to each booking.
• Please bring your own bedding and bowls for your pets.
• Do not allow pets on bedding and furniture.
• Do not lock pets inside while you are out. We do not take responsibility for pets left in courtyards or fenced gardens, you must do so at your own risk.
• Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable. Complaints from nearby residents andguests will be referred directly to the owners.
• Please check the garden areas thoroughly before you leave and clean up any mess left by your pets. Failure to do so will incur additional charges.
• You will be charged for any damage caused by your pets at the property including, but to limited to, damage done to plants, driveways, irrigation systems, hoses, and furniture

We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of any guest’s personal property. If items are left behind, we will do our best to retrieve and post these items. Guests must pay to cover any time spent by South Coast Host to retrieve the item, plus postage costs.

Please advise us prior to departure of any repairs needed, damage, or breakages that may have arisen; or immediately where repairs are required during your stay to avoid further damage to the property and for the safety of guests. You agree to allow us or nominees to enter the property to carry out any necessary repairs. You are responsible for all damages, breakages and loss incurred during the term of your occupancy.

You will be notified of the key collection location on the check in email which is sent 2 days prior to check in. You are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys/remotes. A call out fee is payable if a replacement key is required after hours. You will be charged for the cost of changing the locks and/or cutting new keys if keys are not returned or lost.

All properties are non-smoking, with no exception.

For safety reasons children are required to be supervised by an adult at all times. The safety of children is your responsibility.

We don’t expect to have to cancel or amend your booking, but if problems occur and we do have to due to unforeseen circumstances (ie. power outage, damage, fire, etc), we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you, and if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.

You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. We are not liable for any injury or loss that you or any of your guests or visitors may sustain while you are staying at our property.

The property must be left clean and tidy on departure, close to the way you found it as is standard with holiday rentals. If the property is left in a condition which requires these standard duties to be performed by our cleaners, fees will be deducted from your bond. However, if the property is left in a very poor condition and has been mistreated, additional fees or full bond will be charged (ie. stains or marks on walls/floors/furniture, removal of odour, etc).
On departure, please ensure stove, grill and oven are left clean and turned off. Remove food from fridge and leave fridge clean. If any of the linen is returned in an unreasonable condition(stained/soiled/damaged) or missing, then the cost to launder or replace will be charged. Please scrape and clean the BBQ prior to departure. Turn off BBQ gas after every use. If you need a gas refill for the BBQ, please contact your property manager.

The house will be well stocked with supplies on arrival. Extra stock for the duration of the stay will be at guests’ expense.
